What is the difference between business and hosted PBX?

Business PBX is usually owned by the business having a right to change, add or expand the phone system. The external lines are connected to make and receive telephone calls.
Hosted PBX is hosted outside the business premises into a data centre. The hosting company would own and maintain the equipment and charge on monthly basis.

What is VoIP?

VoIP mean Voice Over IP, whereas IP means Internet protocol. IP is a method where data is sent from one device to another over the data network; e.g. Ethernet or Internet.
With VoIP, analogue voice is converted into data packets and sent over the data network like any other data packets; e.g. email or web browsing.

What is the difference between analogue, ISDN and SIP lines?

Analogue & ISDN connections are made available with a dedicated piece of wire/fibre connected back to PSTN exchange with max. 2 Mbps of bandwidth in case of ISDN30.
However, SIP connection is made available via an IP (internet Protocol) networks i.e. internet which is further connected to ISP (Internet Service provides) / ITSP (Internet Telephony Service provider). SIP lines have advantage over legacy product in terms of cost saving, portability, flexibility, faster installation and disaster recovery.

What are inbound numbers?

Inbound numbers are hosted in the cloud making it easy to route to any destination, giving you control, flexibility and portabailty.

What are non-geographical numbers?

These virtual numbers are hosted in cloud and are not area bound. Destination telephone set or telephone system could be located anywhere in the country. With this flexibility the company resources could efficiently be utilised.

How do you make sure to provide a seamless service transfer from one provider to another?

A site survey is done to establish onsite services, liaise with the existing provider and plan the transfer with the new provider. We remain in contact with all parties, take charge of the transfer process and keep the disruption at a minimal level.

Do you charge on monthly or quarterly basis?

Quite often we generate our billing on a monthly basis and encourage our customers to setup a direct debit. However, you may pay by cheque or make an online transfer into our bank account. Please ask for further details.

How much will I save if move services to your company?
