What is the difference between analogue, ISDN and SIP lines?
Analogue & ISDN connections are made available with a dedicated piece of wire/fibre connected back to PSTN exchange with max. 2 Mbps of bandwidth in case of ISDN30.
However, SIP connection is made available via an IP (internet Protocol) networks i.e. internet which is further connected to ISP (Internet Service provides) / ITSP (Internet Telephony Service provider). SIP lines have advantage over legacy product in terms of cost saving, portability, flexibility, faster installation and disaster recovery.
