The challenge

Mitchell Brook Primary School faced significant hurdles with an aging IT infrastructure that could no longer keep pace with the demands of a modern curriculum. Frequent network downtime, slow login speeds, and unreliable Wi-Fi across the campus were disrupting lessons and creating frustration for teachers. Furthermore, the school needed a more robust cybersecurity framework to protect student data and ensure compliance with educational safeguarding standards.

The solution

Following a comprehensive audit of their existing systems, we designed a scalable Managed IT Services package specifically tailored for the education sector.

We overhauled the school’s backbone by installing a high-speed Full Fibre leased line and a site-wide Managed Wi-Fi 6 solution, ensuring seamless connectivity in every classroom and outdoor learning space. To address security concerns, we migrated the school to a secure Cloud-based server environment and implemented an advanced filtering and monitoring system. This not only protects the network from external threats but also ensures a safe browsing experience for pupils. Additionally, we provided a fleet of managed laptops and tablets, pre-configured with educational software, to facilitate 1:1 learning initiatives.
